Reviews

For the majority of pets, there inevitably comes a time when we have to move from doing all we can to preserve a quality of life to doing all we can to guarantee the quality of ending it

Why At-Home Euthanasia?

Saying “goodbye” to pets at home is often the kindest choice for both your pet and your family.

We know that it is often very distressing for both of you to travel to the surgery during these times. So, we provide a gentle, peaceful, and compassionate end-of-life experience for pets and their families, all in the familiarity, comfort, and privacy of their home.

Benefits include:

Your pet will be in their own surroundings:

This means less anxiety or stress for them as they will be in their favourite place with all the familiar sounds and smells

No need to transport or move pets:

This means reduced stress for pets especially if they have mobility problems

Other family pets can be present:

This means they can sometimes heal faster from the loss of their companion

No need to hide emotions:

This means no feeling embarrassed as no strangers are present

You can take your time afterwards:

This means that the family can be left in peace to grieve

No transportation concerns

For pets that are to be buried at home

Why Us

BECAUSE WE SPECIALISE IN AT-HOME EUTHANASIA SERVICES

Our primary concern is helping and supporting you through the process of saying your final goodbye with dignity, respect and peace of mind for both you and your pet. We offer a comprehensive service so that you don’t have to worry about the details.

What does it involve?

All pets will, at first, receive a sedative (including pain relief), given through a tiny needle prick, which ensures your pet remains calm and pain-free. Our vet will carefully explain what happens after that and you can ask any questions. You can be present during the final procedure and even hold your pet if you so wish.

What happens to my pet after euthanasia?

There are a few choices for taking care of your pet after euthanasia:

Home Burial. All pet owners are given the option to bury their pets at home. Nowadays, however, this is not a common choice.

Cremation. If you decide to leave everything in our hands, we will arrange for your pet to be cremated. There are 2 options here:

Standard Service

This is a communal cremation where several pets are cremated together; this mean that you will not get any ashes back

Individual Cremation

This is where your pet’s ashes are returned to you either in a casket or urn. Perhaps you would like to scatter the ashes in your garden or on a favourite walk

**Private services can be arranged upon request

Testimonials

We cannot thank Sanjay enough. Our boy suddenly deteriorated, and we came to the hard decision to put him to sleep. Sanjay came to our home, explained exactly what to expect and reassured us everything would be done at our pace. Having those final moments with Sunny, allowing him to drift off in our arms, in his favourite spot, was priceless to us.

Thank you for your compassion, gentle nature and consideration with Sybil. She had the best end to her wonderful life. She passed where she was loved without distress. You were incredibly thoughtful and gave us space to move at our own pace. Leaving us to take as much time as we needed. The flower the following day was beautiful. Thank you again for helping us through an incredibly difficult situation.

I would like to say how impressed we were with the way everything was handled with Benson's euthanasia. You were very thoughtful, and we felt very unrushed. But most importantly, we felt Benson was treated with the utmost care and consideration. Thank you again for your professionalism and care.
